Shivanjali Arts was founded in 2018 with the goal of promoting Indian culture through dance throughout the GTA. Our dance school focuses on providing a supportive and encouraging environment to help students build confidence and create memories that will last a lifetime. We are committed to providing our students with a solid foundation in dance while also nurturing their personal and social growth. Our dance programs are designed to be fun and engaging while also instilling discipline and technique in our students.
What we do...
As a leading dance school, Shivanjali Arts is dedicated to providing high-quality Kathak dance training in the Lucknow Gharana style. Our instructors are passionate about this art form and are committed to helping students reach their full potential. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on technique, rhythm, and expression, ensuring students gain a firm foundation in this classical dance form. Our students also have access to make-up lessons to help them prepare for performances and we provide a range of dance costumes to ensure they look their best on stage.
Kathak Classes
Shivanjali Arts is dedicated to fostering a love of the arts in all of its students. Our Kathak Lucknow Gharana classes offer students of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of dance and build discipline and respect for the art form. We are a studio-based dance school that offers a supportive and welcoming environment for our students. At Shivanjali Arts, we combine artistry and movement to create a unique dance experience. Our talented instructor, is also a professionally trained makeup artist with over 20 years of experience. She will guide you through the exploration of various dance styles while also learning how to create one-of-a-kind stage makeup designed to complement your dance style. Costumes
As an essential part of any dance performance, costumes can make all the difference. At Shivanjali Arts, we provide costumes for all of our students so that they feel confident and look their best while performing. We also create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces on commission for those who want something truly unique. Our costumes are available to rent or you may choose to purchase one as well. Kathak Yatra 2023
Shivanjali Arts has been empowering dancers of all ages and skill levels since 2018. We offer classes ranging from the fundamentals of Kathak to advanced choreography. Our experienced instructors are committed to nurturing each student’s talent and potential through personalized instruction and encouragement. Our commitment to excellence shines through every performance, as demonstrated in our beautiful showcase on July 15th, 2023. Our students’ performances were exquisite, accompanied by mesmerizing music and beautiful costumes that transported audiences through the ages.
